Improving the movement of the mouse in a Remote Desktop Connection

Remote Desktop Connection allows you to take control of a machine remotely. By default, the position of the mouse is sent to the remote machine every 100 ms.

If you want to make more fluid movement of the mouse, you can reduced this value.
  • Open the Registry

  • Click on "start", "Run ..." then type "regedit" and do "OK"

  • Go to the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Terminal Server Client "

  • In the right part of creating a DWORD value named "Min Send Interval" and set its value to "10" (10 ms) in decimal (in which case you should change this value)

  • Your mouse will now be much more reactive when Remote Desktop Connection.
