A skateboarding trick, or simply a trick is a maneuver performed on a skateboard while skateboarding. Learning and perfecting new tricks is the major goal of many skateboarders, for whom most of the time spent skateboarding is spent on tricks.

Types of tricks

Skateboarding tricks can be grouped into the following seven categories:

Freestyle tricks involve balancing on some other part of the board than all four wheels, such as two wheels or one wheel, the tail of the board, or the edges on either side. Various ways to flip and manipulate the board in and out of these stances were invented in the earliest years of skateboarding and these form the basis of freestyle or flatground skateboarding.
Aerials involve floating in the air while using a hand to hold the board on his or her feet or by not keeping constant and careful pressure on the board with the feet to keep it from floating away. This class of tricks was first popularized when Tony Alva became famous for his Frontside Airs in empty swimming pools in the late 1970s and has expanded to include the bulk of skateboarding tricks to this day, including the Nollie and all of its variations.
Flip tricks are a subset of aerials which are all based on the Ollie. An example is the Kickflip, the most widely known and performed flip trick. You can spin the board around many different axis, and even combine several rotations in to one trick. These tricks are undoubtedly most popular among street skateboarding purists, although skaters with other styles perform them as well as street skateboarders.
Slides and Grinds involve getting the board up on some type of ledge, rail, or coping and sliding or grinding along the board or trucks, respectively. When it is primarily the board which is contacting the edge, it's called a slide; when it's the truck, it is a grind. Grinding and sliding skateboards started with sliding the board on parking blocks and curbs, then extended to using the coping on swimming pools, then stairway handrails, and has now been expanded to include almost every possible type of edge.
Lip tricks are done on the coping of a pool or skateboard ramp. Most grinds can be done on the coping of a ramp or pool as well, but there are some coping tricks which require the momentum and vertical attitude that can only be attained on a transitioned riding surface. These include Inverts and their variations as well as some dedicated air-to-lip combinations.
Pressure tricks are performed differently than normal flip tricks in that the board flips using pressure technique in areas of the tail/nose with the foot you pop with.
Manual tricks are performed by balancing the board while riding on either the two front or rear wheels, suspending the opposing wheels in the air.

In a shocking revelation, Charlie Miller has reported that the iPad is crippled with the same memory addressing security vulnerability as the iPhone. It is said that a vital security feature known as “Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR)” is missing in the operating software installed on this device. Apple products are known to use Data Execution Prevention or DEP to prevent malicious code from executing commands that can alter the system files or the operating software. ASLR is is used to allow only random memory addressing to store commands in different memory locations. Hence, the lack of ASLR feature weakens the defenses of DEP by allowing easy access to hackers, letting them run malicious scripts on existing commands within applications. Thus, it opens up new insecure portals for remote access, making the device vulnerable to external attacks.

Aaron Portnoy, a researcher at the security vulnerability tracking firm Tipping Point, has said, “It's inevitable that someone will do it in the very near future. But there's not a huge push to hack it. In terms of exploitation, it's just not that different from the iPhone."

It is a known fact that Apple holds a very small market share mainly limited to the US region. So, it is unlikely that there would be a mass scale attack on Apple's products. Although, one cannot deny the fact that a seasoned hacker could exploit any vulnerability in the software to steal critical information or data.

Aaron Portney says that it is not possible to actually compromise the iPad with a slew of attacks, using Weinmann and Lazzo's exploits in the current scenario. He adds that the software might just need “some tweaking” for better security. “The build of Safari is slightly different," he says. "You'd just have to port it to a different version of the software, which would take some debugging."

EVO will be the first 4G handset to hit the market

The 4G battle is brewing in the U.S. and while there are currently two competing technologies including WiMAX and LTE being used, most only expect LTE to survive the battle. Everyone but Sprint and Clearwire are backing LTE and Clearwire has cleared the way to move to LTE if it desires.

Despite the murky outlook for WiMAX, there are several markets around the country where WiMAX from Sprint and Clearwire is in use. One of the things missing from these areas so far has been a mobile phone that could operate on the 4G network. So far, only modems for computers have been offered.

A screenshot has leaked from The Shack (formerly Radio Shack) that shows that pre-orders for the HTC EVO will start later this month. That is not a firm date, but the screenshot seems real enough and the time frame meets with rumors that have been circulating about the device. The screen shot reportedly came from the internal employee computer system at The Shack.

The image also lists some of the specs we already knew about the EVO. The device will run the Android 2.1 OS, use a 4.3-inch TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 480x800 and uses a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. The handset also has 512MB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera, and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera for video conferencing. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, mobile HDTV, and HDMI output will be featured along with a microSD card slot for storage.

Phandroid reports that tipsters have claimed that training on the EVO will start on May 24 and the handset has a June 6 launch date. Pricing is still unknown, but one of the many rumors pegs the device at $199.99.

3D TVs New Battleground for Plasma, LCD Display Makers

Plasma display panel (PDP) technology makers are pinning high hopes on the emerging but uncertain 3D TV market to claw back market share after falling behind popular LCD flat screen backers.

LCD or liquid crystal display has led the replacement of cathode-ray tube (CRT) television, as its technological edge over PDP in producing smaller sizes helped it attract consumers trading in their bulky and boxy CRT sets. "PDP won't be able to challenge LCD as a mainstream flat panel technology as LCD also continues to evolve into better one," said Will Cho, an analyst at Daewoo Securities. "Having said that, it still does have strength over LCD, especially in 3D market. So the stronger 3D market grows, the better PDP technology will be able to recover," he said.

PDP has been a choice of technology in large sized panels over 40 inches, although LCDs are rapidly expanding into the market with free-falling prices. Prices of 42-inch LCD panel dropped around 40 percent over the past two years, which were moderated by severe glass shortages last year, according to industry data. LCDs account for around 70 percent of global TV market of around 210 million units in 2009, with CRT less than a quarter and PDP with only 7 percent, according to DisplaySearch. PDP makers are making a last-ditch effort on 3D TVs, which usually come in big size screens where PDP scores on pricing and boasts wider viewing angle and quicker response time.

Global TV makers including Samsung, LG Electronics and Panasonic Corp produce both LCD and PDP sets and if PDP takes off, then Panasonic, which is making the strongest push for plasma technology, might emerge as the biggest winner. "We believe plasma TVs are the best device to offer 3D images thanks to its high response speeds...and all this attention on 3D TVs is a strong tailwind for our plasma business," said Toshihiko Shibuya, a spokesman for Panasonic, the world's top PDP set maker. A 42 inch LCD panel costs around $340, while the same-sized PDP panel is 40 percent cheaper at around $200, according to analysts at Citigroup. PDP has also evolved into better display to overcome major weaknesses and its design has also got slimmer. Demand for 3D TVs will likely grow more than tenfold to 27.4 million units in 2013 from an estimated 2.5 million units this year, according to DisplaySearch. The research firm expects the ratio of plasma TVs to LCD models in the 3D TV market to come to one to three in 2013, indicating relatively strong standing of plasma TVs in the 3D arena. In the same year, LCD TVs are expected to outsell plasma models 15 to one in the overall flat TV market.

Researchers Design New Biomaterial That Mimics Muscle Elasticity

University of British Columbia researchers have cast artificial proteins into a new solid biomaterial that very closely mimics the elasticity of muscle.

The approach, detailed in the current issue of the journal Nature, opens new avenues to creating solid biomaterials from smaller engineered proteins, and has potential applications in material sciences and tissue engineering.

"There are obvious long-term implications for tissue engineers," says Hongbin Li, associate professor in the Dept. of Chemistry. "But at a fundamental level, we've learned that the mechanical properties we engineer into the individual proteins that make up this biomaterial can be translated into useful mechanical properties at the larger scale."

Li, Canada Research Chair in Molecular Nanoscience and Protein Engineering, and UBC colleague John Gosline, professor in the Dept. of Zoology, engineered the artificial proteins to mimic the molecular structure of titin.

Titin -- also known as connectin -- is a giant protein that plays a vital role in the passive elasticity of muscle. The engineered version-which resembles a chain of beads-is roughly 100 times smaller that titin.

The resulting rubber-like biomaterial showed high resilience at low strain and was tough at high strain -- features that make up the elastic properties of muscles.

"A hallmark of titin-like proteins is that they unfold under a stretching force to dissipate energy and prevent damage to tissues by over-stretching," says Gosline. "We've been able to replicate one of the more unique characteristics exhibited by muscle tissues, but not all of them."

The mechanical properties of these biomaterials can be fine-tuned, providing the opportunity to develop biomaterials that exhibit a wide range of useful properties -- including mimicking different types of muscles. The material is also fully hydrated and biodegradable.

UBC researchers Shanshan Lv, Daniel Dudek, Yi Cao and MM Balamurali also contributed to the study.

Japan's NTT Data, L&T Infotech, Fujitsu in talks to buy PCS

India's Patni Computer Systems is in talks to sell a majority stake for about $1 billion and the suitors include Japan's NTT Data Corp and Fujitsu, three sources with direct knowledge of the development said. The Japanese firms and the IT arm of India's Larsen and Toubro, which is also in the running, are negotiating for Rs 625 to 675 a share, while the Patni brothers who control the software services firm are asking for Rs 700-750, the sources said.

A 51 percent stake at Rs 675 a share would cost about $981 million, while a price tag of Rs 700 would take the deal value to about $1 billion. At 0650 GMT, shares of Patni, which has a market value of $1.8 billion, were trading down 2.6 percent at Rs 592.90, while the main index was down 1.2 percent.

Patni's shares have risen about a fourth so far in 2010 and currently trade at about 14.6 times forward earnings, costlier than rivals such as MphasiS and Tech Mahindra that trade at a multiple of 13.9 and 12, respectively.

"The talks are on. But there are no exclusive talks to any of them at this point in time," one source said. "Patni is still talking to various suitors and a deal is still sometime away," he said.

The founding Patni brothers aim to sell a large part of their 46.5 percent holding, while private equity firm General Atlantic, will offer its 17.7 percent stake, the sources said. The three Patni brothers - Narendra, Gajendra and Ashok -- would retain a small stake in the firm, they said

Narendra Patni is widely credited with being instrumental in developing the Indian IT industry and is a poineer in the offshore outsourcing model after he founded the company more than three decades ago. Patni's former employees include Narayana Murthy and Nandan Nilekani, who later went on to start India's No. 2 software-services firm Infosys Technologies.

Ambit Corporate Finance is advising Patni on the sale, the sources said. All sources declined to be named as they were not authorised to speak with the media. Patni, Fujitsu, NTT and L&T could not be immediately reached for comment.

Unique ID project to create 3.5 lakh jobs: CLSA

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) project will not only provide an identity to over one billion Indians, but also create jobs for them. An estimated 3,50,000 new jobs are expected to be created as a result of the UID project, according to a report analysing its impact. The mega project is estimated to result in a commercial opportunity of $20 billion in the first five years, and from the sixth year onwards, $10 billion annually, making it one of the largest projects not only in terms of scale, but also in revenue potential.

Other than software and hardware providers, who stand to gain by providing systems and services to implement the project, telcos and banks will be big beneficiaries, according to the report by brokerage firm CLSA. Telcos stand to gain 60 million new subscribers, $4.5 billion in mobile payments, and $2 billion in ARPUs (average revenue per user) and handset sales, while banks stand to gain 125 million new bank accounts from the existing figure of 240 million unique account holders.

“An early success should kick-off a virtuous cycle, making UID numbers a catalyst for transformation in India...Can a number change a nation? We believe it can,” said Anirudha Dutta, deputy head of India Research, and his colleagues from CLSA. “In impact, the UID project is unprecedented in its ability to directly address many flaws in India’s social infrastructure at its very roots, and also in its potential to catalyse corporate-sector participation (and even innovation),” they pointed out.

“Prima facie, the inclusive agenda of the UID project will drive more business for financial institutions and telcos. The ultimate objective of the project is to have bank account for every person with a UID. As a result, a majority of the billion-strong population, even if not the entire billion, will come into the banking fold. A lot of what is now transacted through cash, will get channelised through the banking system. Telcos will benefit as the concept of mobile-wallet takes off. They are also well-placed to play the role of business correspondents for banks, since banks cannot have branches everywhere and will have to use business correspondents for reach,” said Guru Malladi, partner, Ernst & Young.

The revenue flow is expected to happen in a phased manner. Initially revenue opportunities will be for consulting, IT services, business process re-engineering (BPR), hardware and training and maintenance. In the second phase, it will be for handset makers, mobile payment services, market analytics and business intelligence services, and hardware. In the third phase, the potential revenue opportunity for targeted marketing could be in the region of $12 billion per annum, according to the report’s authors.

Each of these is expected to create more jobs in areas like systems integration, training and analytics, spurring demand for roles like systems specialists and programmers, and jobs associated around business process engineering. By the sixth year, the report projects UID-linked commerce worth $9 billion-$10 billion annually. “By Year 6 of its implementation, UID should have entered a virtuous cycle of innovation, commitment and inclusion, linking private-sector businesses to India’s poor in an unprecedented manner,” the report said.

How to File an Amended Income Tax Return (Form 1040X).

If you have filed your taxes for the most recent year but would like to take advantage of a new credit, such as the $8,000 first-time home buyer tax credit, without waiting for next year, you will need to file an amended income tax return.

You cannot file an amended tax return electronically. This article will explain the process and all it will cost you is a postage stamp.

Note: Some online tax preparation applications like TurboTax and Tax Cut allow you to complete this form online, but you are still required to print and send the forms and supporting documentation through the mail.

1. Have your completed tax return ready. Start with the income tax form you submitted earlier this year, either your 1040, 1040EZ, or 1040A. You will need to include some of this information on the new form. Do not attempt to rely on your memory.

2. Download the blank amendment form. You need Adobe Reader to download and print Form 1040X. It is available on the IRS website or directly from Consumerism Commentary through this link [pdf]. This will always link to the most recent 1040X.

3. Enter your current personal information in the top section. If you have a current version of Adobe Reader, you should be able to click on any blank line of the form to type directly into the document. Ensure you include the proper tax year at the top of the form; if you are completing this form in July 2009 to amend the tax form you filed in April 2009 for the 2008 tax year, make sure you enter the year 2008 in this field. Double-check your Social Security Number.

4. Identify what has changed. The second section of this page of form 1040X has three columns. The first column should contain the amounts you presented on your original 1040. The third column should contain the adjusted value. The second should contain the difference between your first column (original amount) and third column (new amount). For example, if you are adjusting your form to change the amount of your Earned Income Credit (EIC) from $0 to $300, line 13 would read would read in order $0, $300, and $300. If you are changing the EIC from $300 to $0, the line would read $300, -$300, $0.

5. Download the appropriate credit form. If you are filing the amendment because you now qualify for the first-time home buyers tax credit, download form 5405 [pdf] and use this form in the same manner to calculate your rebate. Enter the result from line 6 of form 5405 on line 15 of form 1040X.

6. Finish the calculations on 1040X. Continue until the first page of the form is complete and be sure to make note of any additional forms you need to provide based on the adjustment you are making.

7. Complete the second page of 1040X. You can skip Part I of the second page if you are not changing your number of exemptions and are not changing your exemption for families displaced by Katrina or midwestern storms. Part II is required. Explain why you are amending your return. Here is an example:

I am filing this amendment to claim the new first-time home buyer tax credit for the house purchased on July 1, 2009. Please see the enclosed documentation to support my ownership.

8. Print and sign the tax forms. Ensure you are printing all forms relevant to the amended tax return including any forms related to credits you are claiming. Don’t forget to add your signature where required.

9. Mail the forms and supporting documentation. In addition to the forms, include any evidence pertaining to the credit you are claiming to ensure the IRS will process your request quickly without questioning the validity of your claim. For example, you might want to include a copy of your bill of sale, your title, or your mortgage documentation.

Send your complete package to the address corresponding to your state.

I might include “(1040X)” at the end of the first line of the address to help route the form to the correct department faster.

It is unlikely the IRS will directly deposit any additional refund owed to you due to your amended return even if your initial refund was directly deposited, so you can expect to receive a check. Many people are reporting the IRS is very slow in providing these checks so ensure all of your documentation is in order and be prepared to wait four months or more.

Improving the movement of the mouse in a Remote Desktop Connection

Remote Desktop Connection allows you to take control of a machine remotely. By default, the position of the mouse is sent to the remote machine every 100 ms.

If you want to make more fluid movement of the mouse, you can reduced this value.

Open the Registry
Click on "start", "Run ..." then type "regedit" and do "OK"
Go to the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Terminal Server Client "
In the right part of creating a DWORD value named "Min Send Interval" and set its value to "10" (10 ms) in decimal (in which case you should change this value)
Your mouse will now be much more reactive when Remote Desktop Connection.

How to start the System Restore tool by using the Command prompt

This article describes how to start the System Restore tool in safe mode by using the Command prompt (SAFEBOOT_OPTION=Minimal(AlternateShell)). This option is used when you cannot start Windows XP.

System Restore is a tool that automatically monitors and records any changes that are made to the core Windows system files and to the registry. If a change causes your system to become unstable, System Restore can undo (or "roll back") the system to a point in time when your computer was known to function correctly.

Note You must be logged on to Windows with a user account that is a computer administrator to complete these steps. To verify that you are logged on to Windows with a user account that is a computer administrator

If a new program has made your computer behave unpredictably, and uninstalling the new program did not help, you can try the Windows XP System Restore tool.

Important If you have not previously set a restore point in System Restore, you cannot restore your computer to a previous state. If you are not sure, or if you have not previously set a restore point, contact Support.

To start System Restore using the Command prompt, follow these steps:

Restart your computer, and then press and hold F8 during the initial startup to start your computer in safe mode with a Command prompt.
Use the arrow keys to select the Safe mode with a Command prompt option.
If you are prompted to select an operating system, use the arrow keys to select the appropriate operating system for your computer, and then press ENTER.
Log on as an administrator or with an account that has administrator credentials.

Show and Display IP Routing Table in Windows or Linux

Every computer on TCP/IP network (i.e. connect to Internet or LAN) depends on IP routing table to make routing decisions. Routing table, otherwise also known as Routing Information Base (RIB), is an electronic table (file) or database type object that is stored in a router or a networked computer to store the routes, and in some cases, metrics associated with those routes to particular network destinations, i.e. IP address.

Routing table is important for troubleshooting or identifying network problem, when all other components such as network cable, LAN connectivity, Ethernet (or FastEthernet or GigabitEthernet) port appear to have no error or issue. In rare cases, the routing table may point to incorrect interface to route, or has other routing problems, especially in the case of system with two or multiple NIC cards or network adapters.

To view, show or display the routing table in Windows or Linux (works on most Linux and Unix such as Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS, etc.) operating system, use the following commands. In Windows, open a command prompt to issue the command:

netstat -rn

Alternatively, just type the following command in Linux:

route

Or, the following command in Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 and etc:

In Windows Server based operating system, administrator can also view the content of routing table by using Routing And Remote Access GUI management console, accessible from Administrative Tools of Control Panel. After Configure and Enable Routing and Remote Access for LAN routing (under custom configuration), administrator can expand the node to view the routing table, and then expand IP Routing on the console tree. Then, right click on Static Routes and select Show IP Routing Table from the context menu. The entries in the routing table are displayed in the right pane of the Routing And Remote Access console.

Brief explanation and description of the columns in the routing table

Network destination or Destination: The destination host, subnet address, network address, or default route. The destination for a default route is 0.0.0.0.

Netmask or Genmask: The subnet mask that is applied to the destination IP address when matching it to the value in the network destination. Used in conjunction with the destination to determine when a route is used.

Gateway: The IP address that the local host uses to forward IP datagrams to other IP networks. This is either the IP address of a local network adapter or the IP address of an IP router (such as a default gateway router) on the local network segment.

Interface or iFace: The interface indicates the LAN or demand-dial interface (i.e. its IP address that is configured on the local computer for the local network adapter) that is to be used to reach the next router when an IP datagram is forwarded on the network.

Metric: Indicates the cost of using a route, which is typically the number of hops or the number of routers to cross to reach to the IP destination, Anything on the local subnet is one hop, and each router crossed after that is an additional hop. If there are multiple routes to the same destination with different metrics, the route with the lowest metric is the best route selected.

Protocol: Shows how the route was learned. If the Protocol column lists RIP, OSPF, or anything other than Local, then the router is receiving routes. Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) is not available on Windows XP 64-bit Edition (Itanium) and the 64-bit versions of the Windows Server 2003 family.

Flags: Describes the route with the following definitions - G (The route uses a gateway); U (The interface to be used is up); H (Only a single host can be reached through the route. For example, this is the case for the loopback entry 127.0.0.1); D (The route is dynamically created. It is set if the table entry has been generated by a routing daemon like gated or by an ICMP redirect message); M (The route is set if the table entry was modified by an ICMP redirect message) and ! (The route is a reject route and datagrams will be dropped).

MSS: Acronym for Maximum Segment Size, and is the size of the largest datagram the kernel will construct TCP connection for transmission via this route.

Window: Indicates the maximum amount of data the system will accept in a single burst from a remote host when establishing TCP connections.

irtt: Acronym for “initial round trip time” - indicates the value of time that the TCP protocol will use to wait for acknowledgment for a datagram to remote end has delivered been received when a connection is first established. The protocol is used to ensure reliability as hosts will retransmit a datagram if it has been lost (no ack received).

Three steps to speed up PC

Remove unneeded startup programs. You have potentially dozens of programs running in the background that you don't know about. These do nothing but suck up valuable RAM. In order to get rid of these you must use the "MsConfig" option or simple use a program to do it for you.
Run a disk defragmenter. Defragging your system will streamline the way computer accesses information. It will tie up loose ends and condense the data on your computer so it runs more efficiently. Microsoft recommends defragging your PC once a month. You can run this feature manually or use a program to automate it.
Clean up the registry. This is the most important step you can take to speed up PC performance. The registry is essentially "the engine" of your computer. When it is clogged up with junk and full of errors it will slow down your computer immensely. I do not recommend attempting to perform this step manually. The registry is extremely sensitive and if the wrong files are altered or removed it can cause severe damage.

Single Document With Multiple Users

Word does not allow multiple people to use the same Word document at the same time, since the edits by each individual could create havoc with the final document. Instead, Word provides several tools that you can use in a multi-user environment to make collaborating of a document just a bit easier.

The first such tool is referred to as Track Changes. This tool allows two different approaches to document editing, each with plusses and minuses. The first approach assumes a serial progression of the document. For instances, you have a single copy of the document, and it makes its way through each member of your team. With Track Changes turned on, each person's edits are noted and can be easily reviewed by the person ultimately responsible for the document. For creating your commands you need to follow some of the steps below:-
1) Start> Run > regedit.
2) Go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ App Paths .
3) Go to the Edit menu> New> Key and name as Netexpo.exe

Double click on the value you have entered and go to Edit menuString Value and give the path name.
4) Double click on the value you have created and ebter the full path of the application that you wish to launch(eg C:\Programs Files\ Internet Explorer) and than click on OK.
5) Gain double-click on the value and enter the executable file name executable application full path(eg C:\Programs Files\Internet Explorer\Iexplorer).
6) Then click on OK and close the Regidtry Editor.

I have read a few threads relating to this topic and thought I would share my experience. I have been working only with RapidWeaver for about 2 months now and my experience before that on web design. After reading everything I could on the web and then, after buying RapidWeaver, Blocks, and downloading some themes (and quite a few others), I undertook redesigning my website.

Before I started, I had a small 5-page site designed by a friend who did not charge anything for me. I guess you get what you pay for. We did not even appear in the search engines.

Today, after a month or so being live, we are at the following position for our major keywords:

Google - # 11 or # 12, page 2
MSN # 1 and # 2 page 1
Yahoo # 8 page 1

Not too bad considering where we started.
So here are my recommendations for SEO.

Content, Content, Content. - Search engines love content. They are searching the web, NOT to list your site, but rather to return the best, more relevant results to the person who is doing the search. Cool flash is great, but if it does not have copy that gets listed in the search engines, it does not mean much.

I made a few mistakes along the way but sought out help here. Like not using an image block for text!

Learn from the experts
I must have emailed 1/2 dozen times to the experts to clarify something for me. In fact, I have not found any of the developers to NOT try to help or assist in a timely fashion.

Search Engines like New Stuff
I started a blog on the site and was amazed to find out that each blog entry stands alone with the search engines. We also try to add a new page every week or so.

The Other Key
The other key ingredient for search engines (Google especially) is inbound links. That to me is the most difficult and time consuming part. I do not sell to dealers or internet people so they are not linking to me like to my competitor. So I am taking the path of social bookmarking with your own browser etc.. I have also made a site with other information besides what I am selling. Currently, we are being bookmarked by 25% of our visitors. Some will come back to buy, others just to see what is new. Nevertheless, the traffic will help as they send the link to their friends.

There is currently an official Google-sanctioned experimental keyboard shortcuts program you can opt into, although there's the slight chance that the company may one day kill it off. That and it won't remember to give you the shortcut keys the next time you search if you're not signed in to your Google account.

If both of these things are holding you back from keyboard shortcut dominance, worth downloading is Janakan Arulkumarasan's Google Keyboard Shortcuts extension for Firefox. When installed you can simply use your arrow keys to sift through the results, which get highlighted in a lovely pallid yellow. There are two ways to open up the result links: you can either hit enter, which opens the link in a new window, or enter plus control which opens it up in a new tab. The extension trumps Google's own keyboard shortcuts program in this regard.

The Easier Way is,

Right-click on the taskbar and choose Properties, then choose Start Menu.
Select the "Classic Start menu" option, and choose the Customize button.
Now just click the Clear button to remove all of the recent documents and applications from the start menu.
Once you've done that, hit Cancel and then Cancel again to make sure you don't switch to the Classic Start menu.
Note that this method will clear out everything… so if you just want to remove a single entry you need to use the registry hack method.

Print to a Network Printer from MS-DOS-Based Programs in Windows

Transfer user settings to another user - Duplicate user's account (Windows Vista)

Hello,

Whether after a re-installation of Vista or just to duplicate his account, because they are dysfunctional, you can transfer files and settings and return in a few clicks, a nine identical to what we had set, with all their personal files.

What will be transferred is detailed, click on "Transfer", the procedure begins. The window displays the end of the procedure.
Reboot the PC.

Duplicate user's account:

Sometimes the user account that is used, whether standard or administrator, may present deadlock and dysfonctionnemnts.
By the method of transfer, you can transfer files and account settings damaged.
Before the transfer, of course, creates a new account:
Panel -> User Accounts -> Manage another account -> Create a new account.
For this example, I named "sizel1.
Then the transfer procedure is exactly the same as for the re-installation of Vista, except that in this case, it remains on the same operating system Vista.
When the transfer was made, we have a brand new user account, blank manipulation, strictly identical to the old one, with personal files and settings.

Note that in the old account ( "Chantal" for example), nothing has changed, the settings and files are still present.

We just have to delete the old corrupt and rename the new one.

How to hide drives on Windows XP or Vista ?

You may need to hide a drive either for security reasons (to ensure that children do not have access to a backup drive, for example) or for practical reasons (if your PC has multiple memory card readers never used). Here's how to do so, under XP and Vista.

A command in the registry will tell Windows Explorer not to display some readers. Technically, the system uses a binary value of 32 bits where each bit corresponds to a reader. Bit 0 is the drive A, bit 1 in drive B, etc.. When this bit is "1" the player is hidden, otherwise it is visible.
